CDs Online - resources

The three learning packages available on CNET, Journeys into History , Cromwell the Firefighter and Visions of the Past are available on CD. The content of the CDs is identical to the on-line materials, in that they run in your internet browser and can be installed onto your local network server to improve speed. The ordering details are below.

There is also an activity pack to go with Cromwell the Firefighter, which is available with or without the CD. The Activity Pack includes:

• A1 size floor map of a fictional town so that floor robots such as pip, pixie or roamer can be used as a fire engine. The town has all major establishments, school, bank, swimming pool, fire station, supermarket etc.
• 20 Workcards that require the floor robot to start at the firestation and get to a fire or incident. Cards 1 to 10 are aimed at Key Stage 1 pupils, with Cards 11 to 20 aimed at Key Stage 2 pupils and include diversions due to road works etc.
• My World activities for Key Stage 1 pupils
• Word processor start files for creative writing
