| Accessing your personal DLG mailbox |
|---|
| Whilst the upgrade work is in progress, you will be unable to access your school site and, therefore, your email (which ordinarily you would access through the My Email link). To go directly to your email, click the link below and log in with your usual DLG username and password. This does not affect Frogmail users who can continue to access their accounts in the usual way. | |
| | Access my personal durhamlearning.net email |
| Accessing your school's "secure" email |
|---|
During the upgrade you will be unable to access your school's secure email in the usual way (via the button on the Extranet).
To go directly to your school's email account, you need to type an address directly into the address bar in your web browser. If your school's email address is p1234.admin@durhamlearning.net, you would type the address https://portal.durhamlearning.net/exchange/p1234.admin and then log in with your DLG username and password in the usual way.

| Virus Alert 2 July 23rd. |
|---|
Alert 23 July 08
If you experienced problems yesterday with a virus infestation, we have discovered that it may be possible that you received other variations which presently may still persist on your system which are not presently being detected by Symantec.
In order to contain this virus, it is essential that ITSS conduct a site visit to check your system and subsequently remove them. In order to do this we will require access to the school and your system over the next 6 weeks.
We require dates and opening times. Please either log a call via remote on the ITSS Service Portal or contact the ITSS Help Desk giving this information on opening times and dates.
ITSS will leave confirmation that this work has been carried out.
You are strongly advised if you know your system was infected, not to use this/these machines as you are liable to spread the virus.
ITSS SLA’s do not cover virus cleaning however, if we are able to gain access and carryout this work, we will endeavour to keep these costs to a minimum.
By undertaking this work during the break, we would hope to minimise disruption to Schools in the September term.
