EYFS Durham suggested planning formats
imageHere are some planning formats devised by the Early Years central team, designed to fulfil the requirements fo the EYFS.

Medium and short term can be downloaded now and long term is to follow.

It is thought that the weekly plan could be for more than one week, depending on the responses of the children.

For short term the daily room plan or the focus sheet should be used NOT both!

Super software
imageNumber run by Q&D

Number Run is really good on whiteboards!
Number Run's five fun mathematical activities, help children to work towards the early learning goals for counting and calculating. Each activity covers a different aspect of early numeracy, such as comparing, estimating, using numerical language and ordering.

Practitioners can tailor the activities to suit age and ability. Clip art images are also included.
