Local Democracy Geography Competition
During Local Democracy Week (October 2005) Primary Schools were encouraged to explore local community issues. The aim was to enable pupils to analyse a problem in their local area, suggested improvemnts and identify their preferred choice. Here are the two winning entries.

The document is aimed at curriculum managers and those with a special interest in ESD. It aims to draw together some of the strands of Outdoor Education and ESD which feature in geography, science, citizenship and PSHE and to a lesser extent in other areas of the National Curriculum.
