| 2005 Assessment and Reporting Arrangements for Key Stage 3 |

The Key Stage 3 Assessment and Reporting Arrangements for 2005 have been published by QCA.
The important dates for your diaries are:
15th April 2005: Reporting stationery and guidance to be sent to schools.
11th July 2005: Deadline for submissions of Key Stage 3 Teacher Assessments.

| Details of Pre-course Task for 'Increasing Rates of Pupil Progress in ICT' |

Before attending the Increasing Rates of Pupil Progress in ICT training unit in December participants are expected to :
1. Review both the Progression into and through Year 9 and the Year 7:Transfer and Progression in ICT training key messages
2. Establish the key messages from these training days that look at how participants can:
- Develop Year 9 pupils in order that they are ready to progress to Key Stage 4
- Understand the issues of differentiation needed to support pupils coming into Year 7 with a range of experiences
3. List the activities their school has engaged in following these two training days (if attended) and bring this list to the training.

This file is the biscuit model from Sample Teaching Unit 7.4 with the questions built into the sheet to save time and paper. The sheet is locked so the pupils can't see the answers or edit the IF statements that mark their work. The password is "password", all lower case.

Teachers should highlight and date criteria when evidence of pupil cabability has been gathered.
